Aren't all other wheels cheaper versions?  Surely you don't really want rims that deep. I know they are quick wheels but the front won't be so good in the wind.

Well i might be wrong but i think you'll find any 30-50mm front will make the most difference.

There are plenty of options out there more economical than Zipps to start with George.
Are you thinking of solely using them in Time Trials?
Have a think about the budget to start with and then have a look round the local shops like Bristows or Terry Wrights.
You can get 'faster' wheels without just going deep section. Things like better hubs and even tyres will shave seconds off that 10 time for you.

Hi George
I must say that you looked really impressive when you flew by the start line on Wednesday on your second lap. (I was pushing off ) well done with your efforts so far.
As for the wheels i would recommend Mavic cosmic carbone clinchers. They are about £700 to £800 new though. Or have a look at the HED stinger 60's on the HED website, they are a bit cheaper but still good fast wheels.
Maybe you can get to the Mildenhall cycle rally next weekend there might be some bargains there. Simon.
